5. Payment
- Payment methods are shown in the basket and at the start of checkout. IPS QR code (scan it in your banking app) and bank transfer (payment order): the order awaits payment for up to 3 days. Payment is complete when it is recorded in the account of Gradsko pozorište Ruma. If payment does not arrive in time, the order is cancelled automatically.
- Payment card: once this payment method is available, payment is made on the bank’s secure page and tickets arrive immediately after successful authorisation (see section 15).
A fiscal receipt is issued in accordance with the fiscalisation regulations and sent to the email address given in the order.
6. Electronic ticket
- Once payment has been recorded, tickets arrive by email within 24 hours at the latest. Each ticket has its own QR code and a 10-character code.
7. Entry, copies and lost tickets
- The QR code is checked at the entrance. A performance ticket admits the holder to the performance stated on it, the festival pass to every performance of the festival.
- Look after your ticket as you would cash and do not share a photo of the QR code. If several copies of the same ticket appear, the first person to show it is admitted; later copies are refused, and no new ticket or refund is given for them.
- Izgubljena elektronska ulaznica uvek je dostupna u vašem nalogu (Moje karte); možemo je i ponovo poslati na adresu iz porudžbine. Ponovo poslata ulaznica ima isti kod.
- A cancelled ticket is not valid for entry.
8. Transfer and resale
You may give your ticket away or transfer it to another person. Reselling tickets at a higher price or selling them for commercial purposes is not permitted. The organiser may cancel tickets found to have been resold in this way.
9. Box office
Tickets are also sold at the box office of the Kulturni centar Ruma during its opening hours at the festival. Box office tickets have a QR code and are valid under the same terms. A fiscal receipt is issued for box office purchases.
10. Withdrawal from the contract
A ticket is a service related to leisure activities provided on a specific date. For this reason, in accordance with Article 38(1)(12) of the Consumer Protection Law (“Official Gazette of the RS”, No. 35/2026), the buyer does not have the right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days. We inform the buyer of this before ordering (at checkout), in these terms and in the confirmation sent by email. This does not affect the buyer’s rights if the programme is cancelled, postponed or changed (sections 12 and 13).
11. Exchanges and refunds
- A purchased ticket cannot be returned and no refund is given if the buyer cannot or does not wish to attend.
- A performance ticket may be exchanged for another festival performance no later than 24 hours before the start of the performance stated on the ticket, if seats are available. Requests for an exchange can be sent to info@arttremafest.rs or make it at the box office. Exchanges are free of charge.
12. Cancellation, postponement and programme changes
- Cancelled performance: the holder of a ticket for that performance is entitled to a full refund. The holder of a festival pass is entitled to a proportionate part of the price, according to the number of cancelled performances.
- Whole festival cancelled: the full price of all tickets is refunded.
- Postponed performance or festival: the ticket is valid for the new date. Anyone unable to attend on the new date is entitled to a refund under the terms of this section.
- Change of starting time of a performance on the same day: the ticket is valid for the new time. Anyone unable to attend at the new time is entitled to a refund under the terms of this section.
- Replacement of a performance: the holder of a ticket for that performance may request a full refund no later than the start of the replacement performance.
- We announce cancellations, postponements and changes without delay on the website, on the festival’s social media and by email to buyers whose tickets are affected.
13. Method and time limit for refunds
- Cancelled performance or festival: we refund the money ourselves, without a separate request, without delay and within 5 days of the cancellation at the latest.
- Postponed performance or festival and replaced performance: request a refund by email to info@arttremafest.rs or at the box office, quoting the order number or presenting the ticket, no later than the start of the postponed or replacement performance. Refunds are made within 5 days of receiving the request.
- We refund the money at no cost to the buyer, using the same means of payment: for payment by IPS QR code or bank transfer – to the account from which payment was made (if we cannot identify it, the time limit runs from the day the buyer sends us the account number); for card payment – exclusively to the account of that card; for box office purchases – at the box office or to an account specified by the buyer.
- The organiser does not reimburse travel, accommodation or other costs incurred by the buyer in connection with attending the festival.
14. Rules in the hall
- Please arrive on time. Once a performance has begun, latecomers are admitted only when the staff allow it, so as not to disturb the performance – sometimes only at the interval or for the next performance.
- Mobile phones must be switched off or silenced during performances. Photographing or recording performances without the organiser’s permission is not allowed.
- Please follow the age recommendation given for each performance in the programme. Children must be accompanied by an adult and need a ticket.

15. Payment by card

We accept all validly presented payment cards: MasterCard, Maestro, Visa and DinaCard.
Protection of confidential transaction data. When you enter your card details, confidential information is transmitted over the public network in a protected (encrypted) form. At no point are your card details accessible to our system.
Currency conversion statement. All payments will be made in the local currency of the Republic of Serbia – the dinar (RSD). Prices in other currencies are shown for information only, using the middle exchange rate of the National Bank of Serbia. The amount charged to your card will be shown in your local currency, converted at the rate used by the card schemes, which cannot be known to us at the time of the transaction. As a result of this conversion, there may be a slight difference between the original price stated on our website and the amount shown on your card statement.
Refunds. If tickets paid for by card are refunded to the buyer, in part or in full and regardless of the reason, Gradsko pozorište Ruma is obliged to make the refund exclusively through the VISA, EC/MC, Maestro and DinaCard payment methods, which means that, at the seller’s request, the bank will refund the money to the cardholder’s account.
16. Complaints
- You can make a complaint about an improperly provided service, an incorrectly calculated price or any other defect orally or in writing: by email to info@arttremafest.rs, by phone on +381 22 473 953, by post to the seller’s address or in person at the box office of the Kulturni centar Ruma during the festival. With your complaint, give your order number or attach the ticket, receipt or other proof of purchase. Details: the page Complaints.
- We acknowledge receipt of a complaint without delay, in writing or electronically, with the number under which it is registered. We send a reply with our decision, the reasons and a proposed resolution within 8 days of receipt at the latest, and resolve the complaint within 15 days of it being made at the latest, in accordance with Article 63 of the Consumer Protection Law. The buyer responds to our reply within 3 days; until then, the time limit for resolution is suspended. The time limit may be extended only once and only with the buyer’s consent.
- If we reject a complaint, we will inform the buyer of the possibility of out-of-court dispute resolution and of the competent bodies.
- We keep an electronic record of complaints received for at least two years.
17. Out-of-court settlement of consumer disputes
Gradsko pozorište Ruma is required by law to take part in out-of-court consumer dispute resolution proceedings. If a dispute is not resolved through a complaint, the consumer may start proceedings before an out-of-court consumer dispute resolution body. The list of bodies is published by the Ministry of Internal and Foreign Trade: vansudsko.must.gov.rs. The procedure is free of charge for the consumer and lasts no longer than 90 days; in complex cases it may be extended by up to a further 90 days. The consumer retains the right to go to court.
18. Personal data protection
We use the data from your order only to sell and send tickets, for entry to the festival, to notify you of programme changes and to meet our legal obligations. Data is not sold or passed on to third parties for marketing. More in the Privacy Policy.
19. Force majeure
The organiser is not liable for failure to perform its obligations due to circumstances it could neither foresee nor prevent, such as decisions of the competent authorities, natural disasters or damage to the venue. Even then, the buyer retains the rights set out in sections 12 and 13.
20. Changes to the terms and governing law
The terms in force at the time the order is confirmed apply to the purchase. For anything not covered by these terms, the Consumer Protection Law (“Official Gazette of the RS”, No. 35/2026), the Electronic Commerce Law, the Trade Law, the Law of Obligations and other regulations of the Republic of Serbia apply. Nothing in these terms limits the rights that consumers have by law. Disputes fall under the jurisdiction of the competent court in the Republic of Serbia, and for consumers also the court of their place of residence, in accordance with the law.
